Screening which shall be provided by a behavioral health professional to determine the: 1. Likelihood that an individual has a mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder; and 2. Need for an assessment.
The assessments are provided by a behavioral health professional for the purpose of establishing the presence or absence of a mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder. The assessments assists with; the determination of the client's readiness for change, identify the guest's strengths or problem areas which may affect the treatment and recovery processes. Also the assessment seeks to engage the client in developing an appropriate treatment relationship, establish or rule out the existence of a clinical disorder or service need.
These services consist of activities needed to allow children and adults with a mental health disorder to live with maximum independence in the community through the use of skills training as identified in the guest's treatment plan. A variety of psychiatric rehabilitation techniques shall address one or more of the following: improve daily living skills, improve self-monitoring of symptoms and side effects,improve emotional regulation skills, improve crisis coping skills, develop and enhance interpersonal skills.
During psychotherapy, you learn about your condition and your moods, feelings, thoughts and behaviors. Psychotherapy helps you learn how to take control of your life and respond to challenging situations with healthy coping skills.
We provide individual, family, and group therapy.
Service planning shall be provided by a behavioral health professional. The purpose of service planning is to; assist a guest in creating an individualized plan for services needed for maximum reduction of the effects of a mental health disorder and restore a client's functional level to the client's best possible functional level.
